Term 4 Week 6

Hello :)

What an incredible final week of Term 4 it has been for Ivy Class! Here’s a snapshot of the amazing learning we’ve enjoyed:

📝 Literacy:
This week, we finalised our imaginative mythical creatures! Our budding writers crafted final poems and detailed descriptions, bringing their fantastical beings to life with craft materials. Talk about unleashing creativity!

➕ Maths:
We consolidated our maths skills, practising counting in 2s, 5s, and 10s. Our young mathematicians worked on addition and subtraction, tackling word problems with confidence!

🏛️ History:
A shoutout to Ivy Class for their exceptional behaviour during our trip to the Maidstone Museum! We marvelled at Iggy the dinosaur fossil, had a fantastic time in our fossils workshop, and explored the museum’s treasures. Well done, everyone; the walk may have been tough, but you persevered wonderfully!

🤸‍♂️ PE:
In our last PE session, Ivy Class enjoyed an action-packed day filled with team-building games, honing their movement and multi-skills. Team spirit at its best!

🌈 Science:
This week, we became seasonal experts! Ivy Class created informative posters about the seasons and proudly presented them to the class, enhancing their speaking skills.

🙏 RE:
We reflected on the Christian story of Easter, sharing our own celebrations, and crafted beautiful Easter cards that showcased our artistic flair.

👟 Special Sessions with Commando Josh:
Over the last three Fridays, we engaged in storytelling about Burglar Bill and participated in fun team-building exercises. Our lessons on resilience and making positive choices made for some enlightening discussions!

As we wrap up this term, it's time for a well-deserved break. Have a wonderful two weeks off, everyone! And to all those celebrating - wishing you a fantastic and joyful Easter! 🐣🌷
