Good afternoon everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our learning.

In literacy we have been learning about how plot and suspense can add tension to a story and how we can add this to a narrative.

In numeracy, we are beginning to learn how to use a range of mental strategies for subtraction and addition.  

On Wednesday morning, Year 3 and 4 completed the Restart a Heart initiative run by Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance.  They practiced CPR on their teddy's and were also shown how to use a defibrillator correctly.  We all agreed that it was a very useful skill to have.

And finally, a huge thank you to all of you that have been reading with your child at home and completing their reading record.
