Victorian Day

We were visited by Queen Victoria for our Victorian Day

Our chimney sweeps!

This week we celebrated Victorian Day where we turned our classroom into a Victorian school. Oak Class took part in different activities to give them a taste of what it would have been like in a Victorian classroom. They loved getting the chance to try gruel for the first time (the consensus was that it wasn't nice), try out sewing in order to fix clothing and had a tea party with real china cups and saucers!
