Term 2 week 2

Hello :) 

Oak Class have had an amazing week and I have been so impressed with their learning 

English 

Oak Class have been busy looking at their new book 'Into the Forest' by Anthony Brown. They have discussed what they can see in the images and have had a go at writing their own introductions to stories. Oak Class have continued to concentrate on their handwriting and continued to apply capital letters and full stops to their writing. 

Maths 

In Maths we have been looking at partitioning numbers into tens and ones. Oak Class are able to partition their 2 digit numbers in different ways and have applied their knowledge to problem solving. 

Afternoons 

In Geography we have been looking at the different characteristics of the four countries that make up the UK. Oak Class were able to say the names of the capital cities and can identify the flags correctly.
