Walnut Class Term 3 Week 3

During Literacy, this week, we have enjoyed practicing our news reports. We began the week learning about the features of news reports and created storyboards. We then worked in groups to discuss the characters and their roles for the news reports. We have used our iMovie app to film our news reports, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

In Maths, Year 3 have been learning about measuring lengths in metres, centimetres and millimetres. Year 4 have been learning about efficient multiplication to calculate perimeters.

In Science, we learnt how to create simple circuits so that the light bulb lit up. We have made labelled drawings of our circuits and explain which would be the only way for the circuit to work properly.

In History, we looked at the Roman road and how it was built.

In Computing, we used Scratch to create our own games.

We really enjoyed creating our Iron Man drawings, they look amazing!!!
