Walnut Class Term 3 Week 4
We have had an exciting week in science as the children have created their own circuits, designed and made their own switches. They included wires, batteries, crocodile clips, light bulbs and their own switches to switch it on and off.
In literacy we have learnt about the features of news reports. The children created iMovies of a breaking news report on how Iron Giant was trapped.
In numeracy Year 4 have been applying their learning of multiplication and division to word problems whilst Year 3 have been concentrating on comparing, adding and subtracting measurements.
During our History lesson, children made their own 3d Romain house model and included the hypocaust underfloor heating system.
Please ensure that your child is reading every day. Children also need to keep on practicing their times tables on TTRockstars, every day, including weekends. Unfortunately there are still some children not doing this.
