Term 3 Week 5

This week we have been focusing on our hot writes using all the features and facts that we have been learning this term. The children have really demonstrated their deep understanding of caves and how they form. They have really made their non-chronological reports accessible to the reader through their use of organisational features.

In our Maths learning, Year 3 and Year 4 have been looking at measure. Year 3 have focused on measuring accurately and the use of different measuring devices. Year 4 have focused on converting metres to kilometres and finding the perimeter of shapes.

In Science we have tried making our own fossils using clay. We then tried to determine what we could tell about the animals from the fossils left behind. We also enjoyed our trip to St Martin's Church to learn all about the bible. The children we so well behaved and engaged really well with the activities.

We would like to thank all the adults who came to see our class assembly, it was a pleasure to show off all the children's amazing learning.

Have a lovely weekend,
