A massive well done to all of the Year 6 for completing your SATS this week. You were amazing and enjoyed the breakfast club. Well done to the Year 5s who had a change to their timetable too.
We finished the week with a great trip to Mote Park where we played football or cricket. We did some team building games with Commando Josh and spent some time in the play area.
In English, we are continuing to read the book City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau. This week we have written descriptions for the Unknown Regions and the city that Lina dreams of. We used this to do some art work where we created a new city. We also used drama to act a scene from the story.
This week in Maths, Year 5 have been learning about symmetry in shapes and lines of symmetry. Year 6 used their time to recap on areas they felt less confident with for their SATS.
In Science, we have started to explore shadows with puppets. We shall continue this next week.
In Computing, we finalised our designs on Tinkercad ready to print over the next week.
In PE we went to Mote Park where we did football or cricket and OAA.
