This week, in the mornings we have been doing lots of different activities as retrieval practise of learning we have done this year. We had to name the parts of a plant and made a 3D plant using tissue paper that we took home.  We have also been learning to name common British trees and identified the trees using their leaves.  As a Maths retrieval activity, we practised making different amounts using coins.  We have also been learning to read real and alien words in preparation for the Phonics Screening Check next month.

In Computing this week, we learnt how to use the Excel app to group data. We learnt what a CELL is and that an Excel spreadsheet is split into columns and rows. In R.E we listened to the song 'This Little Light of Mine' and what it means for Christians. We then made our own candles out of paper to show that Christian's believe Jesus is the light of the world. Finally in Science this week, we learnt the difference between a wild and garden plant.
