I often ask myself how it can be Friday already when I write our weekly blog. The days are flying past so quickly.
In literacy, the children have been writing their own metaphors, similes and using personification to describe the Bucket’s house.
In numeracy, Year 3 have been subtracting/adding fractions and solving word problems using the correct operation. Whilst Year 4 have been finding decimal equivalents to fractions and ordering decimals in ascending order.
In science this term, we are investigating forces and have already been learning about friction. We completed an experiment to see if the road surface effected the speed that the toy car rolled down the slope.
Well done to all the children for showing such respect and amazing behaviour on our trip to the church on Wednesday. The church wardens were very impressed and even said how well behaved and knowledgeable the children were!
Enjoy the sunshine and I look forward to seeing you all on TUESDAY!
