Welcome one and all to our latest Cherry Class blog.
Slightly different week this week, as for half of the week we were 'missing' one third of the class, as they had their Year 5/6 residential trip. I know the weather was particularly poor yesterday (Thursday) but I hope everyone had a great time nevertheless.
For those that remained, it was business as normal! In that we had Literacy lessons linked to a dragon hatching from a gigantic egg, a free-based poem based on an emotion and the senses and a chance to design a board game in Numeracy. We has a fun science lesson earlier in the week before the residential, a practical session to investigate the concept of 'gravity' In RE we investigated UK mosques and we had a double session (very enjoyable!) of handball on the playground this week, as the field was too wet for us to do athletics
Have a great weekend everyone, only FIVE WEEKS TO GO!!!!
