🌟 What a Wonderful Way to End the Year! 🌟

What a fantastic way to bring the school year to a close! 🎭🏴‍☠️

Year 6, you should be incredibly proud of yourselves for your amazing performance of Pirates of the Curry Bean. 🌊☠️ From learning lines and songs to rehearsing scenes and developing your characters, you have all worked so hard. Your enthusiasm, confidence and teamwork shone through in every performance, and you have truly done yourselves and the school proud. 🌟👏

As we say a sad goodbye to our Year 6 pupils 😢, we would like to wish each and every one of you the very best in your new schools. We know you will continue to work hard, make wonderful memories and achieve great things. Good luck, Year 6—you will be missed very much! 🍀🎓✨

Meanwhile, Year 5 have been putting their mathematical minds to work! 🧠➕ They have been exploring reasoning and problem-solving activities, using all the skills they have learned throughout the year to tackle tricky mathematical puzzles. 🔢🤔 It has been wonderful to see them working collaboratively, discussing ideas and persevering to find solutions together. Teamwork and determination have certainly been on display! 🙌

In English, we finished reading The 100-Mile-an-Hour Dog: Goes for Gold 🐕🥇. We thoroughly enjoyed following Trevor and his speedy dog, Streaker, on their latest adventure. To celebrate finishing the book, we wrote newspaper reports summarising the story, using our journalistic writing skills to report on the exciting events. 📰✍️

We have also enjoyed spending some special time together as a class during our final few days. 🎲😊 We played games, shared lots of laughs and made the most of our last moments together before the summer holidays. It has been a wonderful year with Rowan Class, filled with fantastic memories, brilliant learning and many achievements to celebrate. 📚⭐

I will miss Rowan Class 2025 – 2026 very much. Thank you all for your hard work, kindness and enthusiasm throughout the year—you have been a pleasure to teach. 💚

Good luck to everyone moving on to new classes and new schools. 🏫✨ Have an amazing summer, stay safe, enjoy every moment and make lots of happy memories with your families and friends. ☀️🍦🏖️
