Week ending 5th June 2026

Welcome back, I hope you had a relaxing half term as we head towards the last term of the academic year.

In literacy we have started to look at the features you would expect to find in a biography beginning with Tom Daley and Mo Farrah. 

In numeracy, both year groups have started to learn about analogue and digital time, with Year 4 extending their learning to include how to calculate time intervals.

In art, we have started to look at the artist David Hockney and how he interpreted the landscapes around him.  Whilst in Science, we are learning about healthy eating and what constitutes a balanced diet.

With the weather so unpredictable currently, please ensure that your child has a waterproof coat in school.
